Bin Enquiry FormFor the first time IYM is expanding nationwide and doubling in size to two week long sessions with opportunities provided to eighty female senior secondary school students attending a residential programme during the July school holidays.
IYM participants experience first-hand what it is like to work in diverse industries like ICT, engineering and high-tech manufacturing.
Lower Hutt businesses and research-led companies, CRIs, and tertiary education providers open their doors to showcase the work they do and profile the myriad of job opportunities available in tech, engineering and science.
Talk to Dr Laura Sessions Hutt City Council’s Science and Technology Manager, IYM Programme Manager Sue Avison (also representing Rotary), IYM alumnae - some of whom travelled to Silicon Valley this year through Rotary, IYM secondary school students who are attending the programme this year.
Join us as we visit some of Lower Hutt’s diverse science, technology and innovation-led companies during the IYM programme.
