Since Lime e-scooters were introduced to Lower Hutt in December last year the Hutt City Council has received sixty complaints, none of which have related to this technical issue, however we continue to closely monitor reported incidents.
The permit issued to Lime scooters to operate in Lower Hutt runs through until 30 November however if safety issues do arise as per those experienced in Auckland we will review the conditions of the permit and may look to suspend it.
