The mobile unit shows you how effective flow restrictors are, and that efficient showerheads don't have to impact performance.
The World of Waste Experience shares the story of waste in Lower Hutt Te Awa Kairangi. It offers students opportunities to think innovatively and creatively about reducing waste.
It involves a short in-class activity and bus tour visiting Silverstream Landfill, Earthlink and the Dowse Art Museum. Groups are limited to 30 students.
After the tour you'll have the opportunity to receive in-school support to build on learning and reducing waste at school.
The World of Waste Experience is delivered by Enviroschools Te Upoko o te Ika a Māui in Lower Hutt.

Local Enviroschools facilitators work with students, teachers, whānau and communities to design and implement sustainability actions. Māori perspectives and the diversity within our communities is woven through all elements of the programme.

Toimata Foundation also runs Te Aho Tū Roa - a programme in Te Reo Māori that works with kōhanga reo and kura Māori culture, language and wisdom.
