Privacy
Hutt City Council (HCC) collects your personal information (name, contact details and payment information) in order to create a customer profile that will enable you to manage your interactions with the HCC gym and aquatics team. We keep your information safe by holding it in secure Council systems that are only accessible by authorised staff.
While not all information fields are required to be completed, if you choose not to enter the required personal or organisational information, we may be unable to effectively manage your bookings or memberships.
Financial information will be held with our financial partner Ezidebit. A copy of their service agreement can be found here: Ezidebit Service Agreement
You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong. You can update your information via the web portal. Supervision of Children
Children under the age of 8 must be actively supervised by a responsible caregiver aged 16 years or over.

Swimmer Dress Code
- All swimmers at all times in the water must wear recognised swimwear.
- No underwear allowed (this includes boxers and bras).
- Clean hemmed shorts (not 3/4 pants) are considered swimwear.
- Wetsuit style togs are acceptable.
- T-shirts/singlets may not be worn.
- Rash vests or special aquatic garments are allowed.
Note:
- Underwear, nappies, street clothing, soiled or badly worn clothing is not permitted in the water at any Hutt City pool.
- Children, five years and under, must wear tight fitting togs. We prefer and recommend children three and under wear Aqua-naps.
- Pool staff shall be the sole judge as to the adequacy, or otherwise, of swimwear, and to whether any swimwear is worn correctly. Any person who fails to comply with any of the above shall be asked to immediately dress and leave the pool.
Swimwear Returns/Refunds
For reasons of Health and Safety we are unable to refund or replace returned swimwear.
If any product is proven to have a manufacturers fault and returned promptly with a proof of purchase we will replace it.
In the event of uncertainty we will send it to the manufacturer for an assessment.
