Bin Enquiry FormBrady is a first-term Councillor having spent the last three years on the Petone Community Board. Brady lives in Waiwhetu with his wife Emma and their daughter Scarlett. Brady owns a photography business and a bridal dress shop with his wife.
He attended Hutt International Boys’ School before graduating from Victoria University of Wellington with a Bachelor of Commerce & Administration (double majoring in Electronic Commerce & Information Systems Management). His hobbies include travelling, photography, technology and spending quality time with friends & family.
Christine is the Iwi representative on the Lower Hutt Creative Communities committee, a member of the Eastern Community panel and is a Waiwhetu Marae Trustee. Christine is a practising visual artist with a Diploma in Art and Creativity from The Learning Connexion where she tutors ceramics. She has a broad knowledge of most art forms, and works with schools and community groups on art projects.
Christine has a Certificate in Uku (clay) from Te Wananga o Aotearoa and is a member of Hutt Art Society, a regular solo and group exhibitor at Odlin Gallery and regular exhibitor at Pacifica Arts and Culture Fono nationally.
Pam Hindmarsh is the Chair of the Creative Communities panel and funding Administrator at Pub Charity Limited. She is a former member of the Western Ward Community Panel 2017-2019 during which time she organised the mural on Wellington Water Buildings on Major Drive in Kelson. She is a former member of Hutt City Council’s Arts and Culture Sub Committee 2017-2019 and a past mentor for Hutt City Council’s Community Arts mentor programme. Pam has 20 plus years’ experience in live arts.
Annalese is a Lower Hutt based artist with a creative practice and interest in painting, screen printing, photography, digital art, illustration, design, music, writing, performing arts, and murals, including a mural collaboration with Sheyne Tuffery.
Annalese holds a Diploma of Creativity and Art (hons) from The Learning Connexion, a Certificate in Musical Theatre from National Youth Drama School and is currently studying Biculturalism and Social Services at Te Wānanga O Aotearoa.
Johannes is a member of Hutt Art Society and the Print-Council Aotearoa.
He has an MD in Product Design from the University of Applied Science Niederrhein in Krefeld and an Advanced Diploma in Art and Creativity from The Learning Connexion. Johannes’ art practice includes printmaking, photography, painting, collage, digital design and sculpture and his artwork is represented in private collections in New Zealand, Australia, Japan, the Netherlands, Norway and Germany.
He has organised many exhibitions in the Wellington Region, including several pop-up projects for About Space. Johannes has strong networking experience and links with local arts community
Shazly moved to New Zealand from The Maldives 24 years ago and lives in Lower Hutt with her husband and two young boys. She has owned her multi award business Shazly Experience in Lower Hutt for the last 14 years.
Shazly is the founder of the region’s first purpose-built sustainable hair and beauty salon – the only salon in the Hutt Valley recognised by HITO as a ‘Training Champion’ for training New Zealand’s top hairdressing apprentices.
She was awarded Wellington region’s most inspirational role model at the Her Business Awards. Shazly is a founding member of Southern End Business Group to revitalise Lower Hutt’s CBD, and an active fundraiser for Te Omanga Hospice and our local schools.
Prabha is the founder of Natraj School of Dance, an Indian classical dance school established in 1999, specialising in teaching Bharatanatyam. She has more than 100 solo performances to her credit and has performed for various festivals in India, Canada, USA, Sri Lanka and New Zealand.
Prabha’s contribution to dance and the ethnic community has been recognised with The Queen Services Medal (QSM) in 2017 and the Hutt City Mayoral Civic Honour Awards for Cultural Affairs and Community Group in 2011. She was also a Finalist for Wellingtonian of the Year Award in 2016 for Education and is a Justice of the Peace.
In June 2018, Prabha was one of the judges for the TV3 Great NZ Dance Masala competition and ‘Hutt’s Got Talent’ for the Hutt Winter Festival 2019, and has been on the judging panel for the annual Hutt City Youth Awards since 2018.
Prabha is an independent director, facilitator, coach, mentor, assessor and presenter. She sits on BATS Theatre and Te Matatini Business Advisory governance boards, Chairs the Consumer Council for HVDHB and is a member of the Community Panel for HCC’s Central Ward.
She is also a management consultant and runs her own consultancy business helping businesses with strategy, business planning and growth.
