Media are invited to join Hutt City Council, Kahungunu Whānau Services, Te Rūnanganui o Te Āti Awa, and Council-owned organisation Urban Plus Limited for the blessing and site opening of our latest community housing project - 'Takai Here Tāngata’ - a place where people are bound together.
Takai Here Tāngata will be a community housing development of 19 homes designed to support whānau into housing permanency. The development will be led by Hutt City Council, Kahungunu Whānau Services, Te Rūnanganui o Te Āti Awa, and Council-owned organisation, Urban Plus Limited who collectively have the goal of putting more people into housing permanency.
This event marks a significant milestone in our partnership as we move one step closer to meeting the need for more safe, warm and dry homes for our whānau.

This event is on Friday 28 May at 128 Molesworth Street, Taita, Lower Hutt
Time: 6.30am-7.30am.
Formal proceedings start at 6.30am so please arrive on time. As this is a construction site, covered footwear is required.
