How the community benefits
Hutt City has a great natural environment and the evolving network of cycleways and shared paths is being developed to reduce emissions and traffic congestion, and provide safe and efficient connections across the city for walkers and cyclists.
The Manor Park Shared Path will extend the Hutt River Trail and create a link to the Remutaka Cycle Trail.
Funding
This project is jointly funded by Waka Kotahi, Hutt City Council and Greater Wellington Regional Council.
The project is being led by Hutt City Council alongside KiwiRail, Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency, and Greater Wellington Regional Council.
