“The awards committee loves to see the applications come in and read about the amazing people in our city who have dedicated significant time and energy over a number of years. Mayor Wallace is encouraging everyone to make a nomination.
“These awards are a vital way to acknowledge important contributors to our community. If you know someone who has been working behind the scenes in our community for many years and deserves recognition, make sure you nominate them.”
Nominations close Friday 5 April 2019 at 5pm and the combined nomination form and guide can be downloaded on the Hutt City Council website or copies can be collected from Council’s building on Laings Road or any Hutt City Library.
Recipients will receive a certificate and silver medal presented to them by the Mayor at an Awards celebration in July.
